Patisseryn & Me!
I'm Ryn (or Kathryn) and I began Patisseryn in 2017 whilst doing Year 12.
My journey with cakes and baking began long before that though!
I grew up helping to bake and decorate cakes with my mum - continually setting harder tasks for my birthday cakes each year. From Spongebob to mermaids to disco and glitter she delivered - and I realised that almost any idea could be turned into cake!!
So I set my hand to trying it out - making cakes for friends and family, some of which are included on the See What We Can Do page.
Studying Studio Art through VCE taught me to experiment with colour, texture, structure and shape - all of which I try to include in some part in my cake creations.
I am currently studying Commercial Cookery and Patisserie at William Angliss, learning so much more about the art of food, flavours and making amazing desserts!
I can't wait to help make your dream cake (or cookies) come to life!
